A tropical flower used in Chinese medicine, patchouli arrived in Europe in the mid-19th century somewhat by chance, its leaves being used to wrap cashmere during transport, impregnating it with their scent. Widely used in the 1970s, its woody and slightly earthy essence is found in many contemporary women's and men's perfumes. Note that only the essence of patchouli has this characteristic sweet odor, the fresh plant being perfectly odorless.

sodium palmate, sodium palm kernelate, aqua (water), perfume (fragrance), palm kernel acid, sodium chloride, glycerin, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter*, tetrasodium EDTA, tetrasodium etidronate, linalool, limonene, CI 12490, CI 60730.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Wet your hands or skin, apply soap, lather and rinse before drying with a clean towel. Avoid contact with eyes. Soap can cause eye irritation, burning, redness and discomfort. In the event of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with cool water.
STORAGE
Keep dry between uses. Store in a cool, dry, dark place.
